Save America from Gay Insurgency!

I love this. Here's Lou Dobbs at the top of the hour on CNN last night:

"Tonight, the war in Iraq, record trade and budget deficits, failing public education, illegal immigration, border and port security. Those are some of the issues that the president and the U.S. Senate today did not take up. Instead, they took up the issue of gay marriage and the U.S. Constitution."

How many times can you go to the well? Does the Bush Administration think so little of the intelligence of the Religious Right that they feel they can trot out this old chestnut? Or is that an oxymoron: Intelligent Religious Right?

Just think how history books 50 years from today will portray the Bush administration.
